Depict1 Doodles

This past weekend I gave a quick little talk for a TEDx event over at ASU West. The talk was mostly about the story of making depict1 and turning it into a flash game and eventually getting it sponsored, and I drew some little illustrations for various points of the talk so I figured I would share them on the internet!

That was a good talk you gave! It was great to have some personal insight into marketing an indie-produced Flash game on those popular portal sites. I tried out depict1, by the way, and really enjoyed it.

Adorable, especially the in-n-out burger. I'm glad to see this view of depict1. You are the reason why I spend time on flash games, for rare gems like these.

Hi there, my name is Kyle, and I'm a kid disguised as a grown up. I'm making video games and living the indie game developer life in Tempe, Arizona. Here you will find my thoughts, games, websites, doodles, and other stuff like that. I worked on Snapshot, Offspring Fling, and a whole bunch of other games. I also created and maintain Otter, a 2d game making framework. If you want to get a hold of me use the form on the bottom of the page, leave a comment, or just tweet at me. I try to post three times a week. Thanks for stoppin' by! You're the coolest.
